How do I unlock a user who has been locked out?

To ensure the security of your Accompa system, users that have too many failed login attempts are automatically locked out.

To unlock a user who has been locked out:

  • Login using an account that has 'Administrator' privileges.
  • Click Settings on the top-right, and select Manage Users from the menu.
  • In the resulting page, this user's "Status" will be displayed as Locked.
  • Click actions link next to the desired user. 
  • In the menu that appears - select "Unlock" next to the user.
  • Follow the directions provided in the UI to unlock the user.
  • This user's "Status" will be updated to "Active" - the user can then login to Accompa.
    • If the user forgot his/her password - please direct them to this help article to recover their password.
