To create a new "SmartView":
- Login to your account.
- Click Requirements tab, then click Create New SmartView link in the left-panel under "View" section.
- Alternatively, click Requirements tab and then click View Requirements link under the tab. In the resulting page, click Create New SmartView link.
- In the resulting page, complete all the necessary fields and click "Save" button. Most sections are self-explanatory, here is some more detail:
- Filter Criteria section: Only requirements matching the criteria defined in this section will be displayed in this "SmartView".
- Sorting Criteria section: Requirements displayed in this "SmartView" will be sorted by this criteria.
- Columns to Display section: Select columns to be displayed for this "SmartView".
- Display Child Requirements: Select this to display child requirements using "interactive tree".
- Only Display Top-Level Requirements: Select this to display parent requirements only.
- Suppress Superseded Requirements: Select this to omit requirements that have been superseded by other requirements.
- Access Privileges section: Define who can see and edit this "SmartView".
