If your Excel or CSV file contains dates, you can use the "Date Format" picklist in step 2 of the "Import Wizard" to choose the appropriate date format in your file.

• Excel-friendly #1 (18-Jul-2014)
• Excel-friendly #2 (18-Jul-14)
