What does "Role-level ACL" do? How can I manage it?

"Role-level ACL" helps you define a range of authorized IP addresses - and apply it to users corresponding to a Custom User Role.

You can manage "Role-level ACL" by following these steps:

  1. Login using an account that has 'Administrator' privileges.
  2. Go to Create Custom User Role or Edit Custom User Role page.
  3. Scroll down to Security Controls section of the page.
  4. Enter desired IP address ranges using these guidelines.
  5. IMPORTANT: To apply this range to all existing users corresponding to this custom user role - remember to check  Apply now to all users currently in this role  checkbox.
  6. Click the "Save" button.
