As described here, a "Floating" license allows multiple users to share a single seat. Thus, floating licenses offer a cost-effective way to provision accounts for users who will access Accompa only sporadically.
For most companies, creating 5-15 user accounts per each floating license seems to work well - depending on the expected frequency of Accompa access by these users, and tolerance for the occasional login failure due to all floating licenses being occupied.
Provisioning 25 or more user accounts per floating license may lead to too many login failures (i.e. "Cannot login as all floating licenses are occupied" error messages) and can frustrate your users - and hence not recommended. |
