Yes, you can leverage SmartEmails functionality such that emails received at an email address belonging to your company (such as features@YourCompany.com) are automatically converted into requirements in your Accompa system.
Here are the steps to achieve this:
- Create a SmartEmail address (such as YourPick@featureidea.com). How do I do this?
- Ask the IT Administrator at your organization to:
- Create a new email address (such as features@YourCompany.com), and
- "Auto forward" emails sent to that email address to your SmartEmail address.
- That's all, your Accompa system will take care of the rest.
Any emails sent to features@YourCompany.com will be converted into requirements based on the rules you defined when creating your SmartEmail.
IMPORTANT: Please note that your IT Admin must create a setting such that emails received at features@YourCompany.com are "auto forwarded" to your SmartEmail address. If you manually forward the emails, the processing will not work properly. |
