What is the difference between "Simple Mode" and "Advanced Mode"?

 Print This

You can configure your Accompa system in one of two modes: "Simple Mode", and "Advanced Mode".

Simple Mode:

In this mode, you can track and manage "Requirements". The advantages of this mode are:

  • Very easy to use.
  • Create and manage requirements, relationships between requirements, discussions, attachments, etc.
  • Ideally suited for smaller companies, or smaller teams/projects within large companies.

Advanced Mode:

In this mode, you can track and manage "Requirements", "Features", and "Use Cases". The advantages of this mode are:

  • Enables highly structured requirements management.
  • Create and manage different "types" of requirements artifacts - such as requirements, features and use cases.
  • Ideally suited for larger companies, or larger teams/projects within small companies.

Your Accompa system enables you to switch between the two modes at any time.
