• When you create a requirement, feature or use case
• When you're assigned as "Owner" for a requirement, feature or use case
• When you start a Discussion Thread, or post a comment to a Discussion Thread related to a requirement, feature or use case

Furthermore - if your organization's Accompa administrator enables it:

• When your name is selected in a field consisting of automatically generated list of users
