How do I delete a requirement?

You can delete a requirement in two ways.

Method 1:

If you know which "SmartView" the requirement appears under:

  1. Click Requirements tab of your Accompa system.
  2. Click SmartViews drop-down menu on the left side of the screen, and select the appropriate SmartView.
  3. In the resulting page, find the requirement of interest and click del link next to it to delete that requirement.

 

Method 2:

  1. Go to the "Requirement Details" page for that requirement. (How do I do this?)
  2. Click "Delete" button in the top portion of that page to delete that requirement.

When you delete a requirement, it is moved to the Recycle Bin. You can recover it from Recycle Bin page - you can reach this page by clicking Recycle Bin link below "Requirements" tab.
